'One Piece' sets record as most printed manga

The Japanese manga comic series "One Piece" has set a world record as the most published comic.
Guinness World Records has recognized the hit series for the "most copies in the same comic book series by a single author."

At a ceremony in Tokyo on Monday, a Guinness certificate was presented to the editor-in-chief of Weekly Shonen Jump, the magazine that carries the series.Between the series debut in 1997 and December of last year, more than 320 million copies have been published worldwide.The adventure story about a boy who wants to become a pirate king has won a global following. It has been made into an anime series and films.
